The great Leo Nucci, the baritones Ruggero Raimondi and Mario Cassi, the young promise Ana Cristina Marco, the tenor José Manuel Zapata, the pianists Rosa Torres Pardo (recently awarded the National Music Award) and Riccardo Bini, along with the Garza Real Musical Association were the interpreters of the X Recital for the benefit of the Prodis Foundation held yesterday at the National Music Auditorium in Madrid.
Ruggero Raimondi, organizer of the Recital, if he addressed the audience before the start of the event to thank them for their loyalty during the ten editions held.
One of the moments that most tasted in the auditorium was the interpretation of Ana Cristina Marco of the “Tango de la Menegilda”, at the contest of the tenor José Manuel Zapata with the “Tango de Doña Virtudes”, who drew applause and laughter from the public. Rodrigo Raimondi was especially moving and applauded the performance of the young man from Prodis, accompanying Leo Nucci in “Lolita” with the castanets. We were also able to hear the masterful interpretation of Rosa Torres-Pardo on the piano of “Preludios” by G.Gerschwin, which was highly recognized by those attending the recital. The cold point of the Recital took place with the conjunct interpretation of “Mamma” by the three Italian artists Leo Nucci, Ruggero Raimondi and Mario Cassi.
The artists acted altruistically to help the Foundation raise funds, which will go to the different programs that Prodis develops in support of people with intellectual disabilities.
This is the tenth Recital organized by Ruggero Raimondi to help Prodis. And one more year, he was sponsored by the Fundación Gmp. A Recital that year after year, is a guarantee of diversity and enjoyment for the public.
